The healthy way to enjoy brownies by the talented Renees Food
A note from the baker:
The best healthier brownies- I've tried multiple versions of healthy brownies- these ones are the softest & fudgiest yet! of course, not the same & less sweet than real brownies but balance is everything :)
Ingredients
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup (30g) cocoa / cacao powder
• 1/2 cup applesauce
• 2 tbsp oil (coconut oil, melted)
• 1/4 cup or to preference, liquid sweetener (maple syrup, agave, honey, ect.)
• 1/2 cup (40g) oat flour (blend rolled oats into flour)
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• Chocolate chips (measure with ur soul), + more to top
Instructions
Stage 1
Beat eggs well, then add oil, liquid sweetener, cocoa powder, & applesauce and mix until completely smooth
Stage 2
Mix all of the dry ingredients together: oat flour, salt, & baking soda. Once mixed, add to the wet ingredients and mix until combined, then stir in the chocolate chips
Stage 3
Next, pour into a lined/greased 8x8 baking dish and add more chocolate chips onto the top
Stage 4
bake for roughly 17 minutes at 350F / 180 C and then allow to cool completely. Finally, slice and enjoy!
